You know that you are in for a special treat when the first step in the recipe involves soaking basil leaves in olive oil for an hour. Yes, after soaking and straining out the leaves, you are on your way to making these delectible basil infused olive oil cupcakes. There is also white wine (making these an adults-only dessert), flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and eggs in the batter. After baking, top these cupcakes with a homemade olive oil buttercream frosting and then serve!
