Snickers Cupcakes

These Snickers cupcakes taste JUST like the candy bar… A chocolate cupcake filled with peanut nougat, topped with a caramel buttercream frosting, covered in a chocolate ganache, chopped peanuts and a drizzle of caramel sauce.

There are a number of components to putting these together, but none of them take very much time; most of the recipe time is spent waiting for things to cool and chill. If you’re a Snickers fan, these Snickers cupcakes should be number one on your to-bake list!

Snickers Cupcakes

There’s nothing quite as comforting, during any season, as the perfect candy bar, and Snickers may be just that. Of course, we’re fans of cupcakes as the perfect sweet treat. Thankfully, these Snickers cupcakes combine the best of both worlds with their yummy rich chocolate base and chocolate peanut butter frosting. That combination is enough of a treat in itself, but drizzle your creation with caramel sauce and top it with a slice of Snickers, and there’s just nothing else to be desired. These scrumptious dessert cups are a real crowd-pleaser, especially if you’re indoors braving a cold winter. So make a few extra, in the spirit of giving.

Pumpkin Snickers Cupcakes

A pumpkin cupcake is certainly not hard to find, and neither is a Snickers, but this recipe combines the two glorious flavors into one, promising cupcakes you won’t be able to resist. These delightful morsels are topped with a nugat frosting and chocolate that looks like it took four hours. (It doesn’t…unless you eat it all and have to start over. No one will judge.) Based on sight alone, it would be tough to judge anyone for eating too many – that orange and brown is the perfect combination of delicious.

There’s just something about a Snickers candy bar that makes it both memorable and tasty. Is it the nuts? The chocolate? The caramel? Or the combination of all three and then some? Either way, these Snicker cupcakes are bound to be as big a hit. To make them, combine devil’s food cake mix, chocolate pudding mix and sour cream, water, vanilla, eggs and vegetable oil. For the frosting, make a homemade caramel buttercream. Top with chopped up Snickers bar for an added kick!
