It’s Monday, and on Mondays, it’s totally acceptable to have cupcakes for dinner. Especially when they’re composed of pizza ingredients!

These little muffins have all the components you love about pizza: sauce, mozzarella, herbs and pepperoni, held together by a savory cupcake. It’s a very basic dough that is soft and almost spongy, which is perfect to soak up tomato sauce. Imagine what a biscuit would be like with all of those toppings and that’s pretty much what you are getting!

Blue Moon Bacon Cheddar Savory Cupcakes Recipe


Cupcakes do not need to be sweet. Some, like these Blue Moon Bacon Cheddar Cupcakes, fall into the savory category. These consist of eggs, flour, baking soda, sour cream, vanilla extract, Blue Moon beer (which should bake out while in the oven, but makes these for adults-only nonetheless), butter, cheese and brown sugar. The frosting is a mixture of cream cheese, butter, cheddar cheese and powdered sugar. Bake, frost and top with bacon bits before serving as an appetizer!
