Carrot cakes can be made even better, thanks to the substitutions and changes seen here. These contain a whopping 13 ingredients, including buttermilk, applesauce, eggs, flour, ground cloves, ground ginger, ground cinnamon, and, of course, grated carrots. The resulting cupcakes are very moist, and quite tasty, making the work worthwhile. The frosting is a cream cheese buttercream to which cinnamon and meringue powder have been added. Are you sure that you only want to eat one?

Dark chocolate cake mix, some pretzels, peanut butter frosting and sea salt are combined here to make these unforgettable cupcakes. The cupcakes are easy to make – just follow the instruction on the box, add in correct ingredients and bake. While those are in the oven, the peanut butter, regular butter and sugar are combined to make the frosting. After frosting each cooled off cupcake, sprinkle on some sea salt, place a whole pretzel into the top of each and enjoy!

If you like salted caramel then these cupcakes are your dream come true. The cupcakes contain a mixture of vanilla extract, sugar, butter, milk and a few other ingredients. Once they’re baked, warm caramel sauce is poured over and into them, thanks to a series of holes that are poked into each cupcake beforehand. They are then topped with home salted caramel buttercream frosting. Sprinkle on a little course salt before serving in order to continue the theme.
