Ice cream cupcakes are tasty, but have one downside – they melt and quickly get soggy, and thus need to be served and eaten right away. However, if you can make ordinary cupcakes look like sundaes, without using ice cream, you have far more options when it comes to eating and storing them. These sundae cupcakes fall into that category. They are topped with a scooperful of frosting that looks like a scoop of ice cream, and are drizzled with chocolate ganache and a few other toppings.
