Oh what a treat when you can mix two favorite desserts such as you do with this Ice Cream Sundae Cupcakes. You start with a chocolate cupcake, (although if vanilla is more your fancy that could surely be substituted) and add a scoop of your favorite flavor of ice cream on top. Lightly drizzle chocolate sauce and a dollop of whipped cream followed by a cherry on top of it all and there you have it; the perfect ice cream sundae cupcake. Add a banana and some pineapple sauce and you have created a banana split cupcake. The possibilities are endless with these ingredients.
