A Taste of Serenity Rose HIp Cupcakes

Rose hips may sound like a strange thing to put into cupcakes, but they result in a spice-cake-like treat. Combine the rose hip syrup with the other ingredients, in this case, cinnamon, almond butter, Greek yogurt, vanilla bean paste, sugar, flour and a few other things. Bake, and then top generously with rose hip buttercream (more rose hip syrup, powdered sugar, butter and salt) before serving. The rose hips make these the perfect treats to serve in springtime!

Sweet Revenge’s “Pure” Cupcakes

There are so many complicated cupcake recipes out there that the “pure” ones stand out. And yes, revenge is indeed sweet when these simple cupcakes are served to your guests. Make them from butter, buttermilk, flour, eggs, sugar and vanilla — that is it, which is why they are considered “pure.” Bake, and then top with Sweet Revenge’s “pure” buttercream (butter, shortening, sugar, milk and more vanilla) and then sprinkle with even more sugar. Snickers Cupcakes

There’s just something about a Snickers candy bar that makes it both memorable and tasty. Is it the nuts? The chocolate? The caramel? Or the combination of all three and then some? Either way, these Snicker cupcakes are bound to be as big a hit. To make them, combine devil’s food cake mix, chocolate pudding mix and sour cream, water, vanilla, eggs and vegetable oil. For the frosting, make a homemade caramel buttercream. Top with chopped up Snickers bar for an added kick!

Neapolitan Cupcakes

Neopolitan ice cream – that classic mix of chocolate, vanilla and strawberry – is hard to beat, although these neopolitan cupcakes definitely will end up on top. Made from a combination of white cupcake batter flavored with cocoa powder and strawberry jam (plus some left white to complete the color scheme) and matching frosting, these tasty treats do not look like the ice cream, but definitely taste like it! Serve with a side of aforementioned ice cream, just to add to the effect.

Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Cupcakes

Oatmeal Raisin Cookie cupcakes seem a lot like oatmeal raisin cookie muffins, but the rich and hearty cookie like cupcake is tasty by whatever name you choose to call it. These sweet treats would be perfect for a quick on-the-go breakfast, as well as an after school snack. They could be frosted quite nicely with a cream cheese icing or buttercream, but they are quite tasty on their own as well.

Corn-on-the-Cob Cupcakes

Corn on the Cobb cupcakes are a whimsical treat for your next barbeque or any party or buffet you are planning. The yellow cake and frosting give a hint of the “cobb” but the corn kernels take the cake in their sweetness; literally and figuratively. The corn kernels are candies such as yellow, white, and cream colored small jelly beans arranged in perfect little rows and complemented with a Starburst “pat of butter”.

Sweetie Cupcakes

Sweetie Cupcakes are the fun kind of cupcakes, even more fun than the common frosted cupcake. Why are they more fun? Because they are garnished with more sweet stuff: candy. Any kind of cupcake is acceptable for this treat, and any kind of frosting is okay but let’s face it, chocolate is best. The fun part comes in in the decorating with M&M’s, Twizzlers, Tootsie Rolls, and the like. Kids of all ages enjoy this treat.
