Strawberry Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting

Strawberry Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting

These Strawberry Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting are perfect! So moist and fluffy! And they are an amazing copy of one my favorite cupcakes!

So I think I’ve mentioned it before, but in case I haven’t here’s my little secret: Even though I bake mostly from scratch these days, I grew up on box mixes and store bought cakes.

So I set out to replicate the flavor of that cake mix, but from scratch. I’m pretty sure I hit the nail on the head. I’m in love with these cupcakes! I even put “love” on top of them.

Gingerbread Cupcakes

Gingerbread Cupcakes

Gingerbread is most thought of around the Christmas season, but we’re milking this chilly weather flavor for everything we can with these gingerbread cupcakes. The cakes are a retake on classic sponge cake, enhanced by a little brown sugar, caramel and yummy spices. Top this combination with a cream cheese frosting to die for, and there’s no doubt friends and family will forget all about gingerbread’s Christmas connotation.

Gingerbread Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting

Gingerbread Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting

Christmas may have come and gone, but as long as chilly weather remains, the season for gingerbread lives on. As it gets colder and we look for more filling treats, gingerbread cupcakes fit the bill pretty darn well. These cupcakes include a delightful blend of warm, winter spices and a heavy dose of molasses for a treat that promises to be as soft and warm as your favorite cozy blanket. If you’re up for topping them with tiny gingerbread people, we absolutely will not judge you, but if you’re not into gingerbread shapes after the holidays, these cupcakes can still provide a delicious treat for colder months.

Spiced Apple Cupcakes with Cinnamon Cream Cheese Frosting

Spiced Apple Cupcakes with Cinnamon Cream Cheese Frosting

When you combine apple with the right spices, especially during autumn months, it’s tough to go wrong. Cut this perfection down to size in a cupcake, and you’re sure to have a winner. In this case, the winning spices are cinnamon and nutmeg with just a hint of cloves. The amazing smell they create while baking is almost as pleasurable as the eating experience itself! Top the aroma and taste with cinnamon cream cheese frosting and a dried apple chip, and you’ve got yourself a little piece of fall heaven…or two.

Pumpkin Patch Cupcakes

Pumpkin Patch Cupcakes

Cute, functional, and delicious – that’s a pretty desirable cupcake, if you ask me. These little guys look tasty tasty in addition to actually being tasty. They’re the perfect balance of “how adorable!” and “I need to eat that right now.” Pumpkin is in, and these cupcakes take full advantage of that seasonal flavor while it’s still here. If you need more convincing, just remember the adorable little tootsie roll that is the pumpkin stem and enjoy!

Blueberry Cupcakes

Blueberry Cupcakes

Blueberries are delicious. Do you need anymore convincing to try these blueberry cupcakes? I hope not, because blueberries may be the best (and most delicious, in my opinion) filling and topping for cupcakes. They don’t really ruin the fluffy goodness inside, and they add a wonderful layer of flavor that is just unmatchable by any other fruit. Top with a toooon of frosting that just screams “eat me!” and you have an amazing little cake that could technically even be a breakfast food.
