Chocolate and peanut butter has long been touted as one of the most delicious flavor combinations in existence, and this cupcake recipe only serves to strengthen that argument.

Yowza – talk about a good cupcake! The cake is tender and moist, but the frosting – the frosting is where it’s at. Rich and decadent, but with a salty kick from the peanut butter. And the peanuts resting on top are just the perfect crunch to set the whole thing off.

Homemade S’mores Cupcakes

Homemade S'mores Cupcakes

One of the best parts of summer is summer camp – and with that, s’mores. What’s not to love? Chocolate + marshmallow heated up till it’s gooey and melty, on top of a crunchy cracker…yum.

These s’mores cupcakes have a mini graham cracker crust, topped with small chunks of bittersweet chocolate, chocolate cupcake sprinkled with more graham cracker crumbs and chocolate chunks, and are finally finished with a marshmallow frosting. Toast the frosting with a mini torch or under the broiler and it gets a perfect toasted marshmallow taste and texture.
