Pretzel Stout Cupcakes

Pretzel Stout Cupcakes

With warmer weather comes a surplus of patio and balcony parties. We’re donning tank tops, drinking cool beers and forgetting we ever needed those heavy jackets. And pretzels are the perfect companion to that beer. Even in cupcake form.

This genius recipe combines chocolate cupcakes with a stout brew and tops it all off with cream cheese frosting, pretzels and chocolate drizzle. If that’s not enough to round out a party, we aren’t sure what is!

Pistachio Hot Fudge Cupcakes

Pistachio Hot Fudge Cupcakes

These little cakes are slightly high maintenance. Like really high maintenance. But in addition to Mother’s Day weekend, it’s also ice cream weather, so we’d say it’s totally worth it.

Fudgy brownie bottoms, pistachio gelato on top, cream cheese frosting (!!!), topped with gooey chocolate, crushed pistachios, sprinkles and cherries. Perfection.

Hazelnut Brownie Cupcakes with Hazelnut Buttercream

Hazelnut Brownie Cupcakes with Hazelnut Buttercream

A hybrid brownie/cupcake with chopped Diamond hazelnuts throughout is topped with a luscious chocolate hazelnut buttercream.

These are a hybrid of a cupcake and a brownie, so you get the best of both worlds. They are denser than cupcakes, but not quite as dense as a brownie. It’s the perfect compromise for when you can’t decide between cupcakes and brownies. Fold in some hazelnuts for a little bit of crunch, and it’s a little bit of chocolate bliss.

Chocolate Avocado Cupcakes with Avocado Buttercream Frosting

Chocolate Avocado Cupcakes with Avocado Buttercream Frosting

By themselves, these vegan chocolate avocado cupcakes are a perfect representation of a delicious, moist cupcake with the perfect crumb. But with the avocado buttercream? Game changer.

This combination is absolutely lethal. The avocado taste in the buttercream is subtle, yet present, and has such a fantastic natural coloring. I would seriously take this avocado buttercream over the traditional buttercream any day. Any day. It is that good.

Flourless Chocolate Cupcakes

Flourless Chocolate Cupcakes

These cupcakes are wonderful. Each bite is rich, decadent, spongy and almost fluffy chocolate cake. Lightly sweetened whipped cream is all you need to go on top, as these rich cupcakes don’t need a heavy frosting.

A chocolate lover would be content to eat these plain, but the whipped cream does make them look a lot prettier. As an added bonus, these cupcakes are gluten-free and under 200 calories!

Chocolate Turtle Cupcakes

Chocolate Turtle Cupcakes

Rich chocolate cupcakes topped with caramel pecan frosting, caramel drizzle and chopped pecans. With a little drizzle of caramel on top and few pecan crumbs, they finish off beautifully.

These cupcakes start with a wonderfully moist and fully chocolate cupcake. Sitting on top is the most wonderful caramel pecan frosting, drippy caramel sauce and chopped pecans. So, so good.
