Pumpkin Cupcakes with Cinnamon Cream Cheese Frosting

Pumpkin works wells in everything. It makes a nice addition to a latte, is the main ingredient in pumpkin rolls, pumpkin bread, pumpkin pie and even pumpkin cookies, so why not start a new trend of pumpkin cupcakes? The ingredients in these cupcakes echo those in a traditional pumpkin pie: nutmeg, cloves, ginger, cinnamon and canned pumpkin. The different lies in the dough, which is flour based. Topped off with a cinnamon, vanilla and cream cheese frosting, these cupcakes will be hard for any pumpkin-lover to resist.
