Carrot Cake Cupcakes with Maple Cream Cheese Frosting

Carrot Cake Cupcakes with Maple Cream Cheese Frosting

Easter may be long gone, but carrot cake, in all its glory, will stick around all year, and if you’re a fan, this cupcake recipe is for you. Four words: Maple. Cream. Cheese. Frosting.

Even if you choose to pass on the tiny carrot toppers (we don’t see why you would – they’re still carrot cakes), these babies are still loaded with all the right ingredients to finish off a weekend right or start a week on the right foot.

Chocolate Cupcakes with Vanilla Malt Buttercream

Chocolate Cupcakes with Vanilla Malt Buttercream

Make your Monday a little sweeter with these intense chocolate fudge cupcakes with decadent vanilla malt buttercream. This cupcake recipe will be perfect for your next baking project!

Each cupcake is swirled with a generous amount of vanilla malt buttercream. The best thing is the buttercream tastes exactly like the centre of a Malteser. I have to admit after I finished the first cupcake I was reaching for another straight away!

I’m pretty sure you’ll have the same problem when you make these!😉

They’re light. They’re moist. They’re loaded with raisi… I kid, I kid! Raisins in carrot cupcakes should be illegal. And I’m not looking for any legal woes here, so let’s just keep the ol’ unwelcome wrinkled snacks where they belong… covered in chocolate and baked into cookies.

While the cupcakes are moist and the cream cheese frosting is as tangy and smooth as ever, I’d be remiss to not draw attention to those edible toppers. Because we all know carrot cupcakes can only be considered complete when they’re crowned with a candy melt carrot. Preheat your oven and get that cold glass of milk ready because these beauties are ready for their close-up (on your dessert table)!

Snickers Cupcakes

Snickers Cupcakes

These Snickers cupcakes taste JUST like the candy bar… A chocolate cupcake filled with peanut nougat, topped with a caramel buttercream frosting, covered in a chocolate ganache, chopped peanuts and a drizzle of caramel sauce.

There are a number of components to putting these together, but none of them take very much time; most of the recipe time is spent waiting for things to cool and chill. If you’re a Snickers fan, these Snickers cupcakes should be number one on your to-bake list!

Coconut Banana 3-Milk Cupcakes with Nutella Buttercream

Coconut Banana 3-Milk Cupcakes with Nutella Buttercream

Honestly, words cannot describe how much love I have for these Coconut Banana 3-Milk Cupcakes. They’re simply perfect in every way.

The cupcake itself, is all on delish. It’s vanillay, bananay and hinted with a subtle touch of coconut flavor. And oh that Nutella buttercream, this is a recipe that everyone should have up their sleeve. It’s perfect for pretty much any cake, cupcake, brownie, baked doughnut, whatever. It’s flipping good.

Smokey Bourbon Chocolate Cupcakes with Bacon Bark

Smokey Bourbon Chocolate Cupcakes with Bacon Bark

These Smokey Bourbon Chocolate Cupcakes are to die for! Not only are the cupcakes SO moist and chocolatey – they are full of bourbon and smokey salt and topped with a smokey salted bacon chocolate bark. I mean, are you kidding?! The flavors together are SOOOO good!

Even if you aren’t a fan of actually drinking bourbon, you might love these cupcakes. They are the jam. But there is a lot of flavor going on so get ready for a kick in the tastebuds, my friends. These are no joke.

Blood Orange Chocolate Cupcakes

Blood Orange Chocolate Cupcakes

There’s something just wonderful about the bold, sweet flavors of blood oranges. Make sure you grab some before they are out of season and make some baked goods!

These cupcakes use my favorite chocolate cupcake recipe as a base and it’s boasting with sweet orange zest and dark chocolate made richer with a hint of coffee. Topped with a blood orange frosting (isn’t the color gorgeous??), they are finished with decorative edible candied blood oranges dipped in chocolate.

Apple Spice Cupcakes

Apple Spice Cupcakes

This one’s for the apple lovers. Surprisingly, this apple spice cupcake recipe starts with a classic vanilla recipe, but that’s where the simple ends. By subbing milk and white sugar for a few seasonal flavors including apple cider, brown sugar and various warming spices, the recipe transforms these no-frills white cupcakes into idyllic apple cider treats. Top the delicious recipe off with chopped apples in homemade caramel sauce, and you’ve got a dessert fit for royalty on your hands!
