Key Lime Cupcakes

Key Lime Cupcakes

These Key Lime Cupcakes are the perfect tart and tangy combo. I love this Summer cupcake! They are so perfectly tangy and limey with a graham cracker base and creamy cream cheese frosting with a hint of lime added.  Seriously perfect.

And it’s Wednesday. You made it this far, so you deserve a cupcake…or two.

Mint Oreo Cupcakes

Mint Oreo Cupcakes

Even if you’re not a huge fan of chocolate and mint, it’s tough not to get on board with Mint Oreos. And it’s even tougher not to get on board with cupcakes, right?

This recipe combines that tricky mint chocolate Oreo flavor with the beloved cupcakes we all know and love here at The Cupcake Blog. In fact, there’s even an actual mint Oreo embedded in the cake. Is it possible to go wrong with that? (No, the answer is no.)

Irish Cream and Salted Caramel Cupcakes

Irish Cream and Salted Caramel Cupcakes

Fridays are for spiked coffee, right? We’re cool with that rule, and this cupcake recipe hits the nail on the sweet, sweet head. Plus, this puppy’s perfect for Father’s Day!

These fluffy cupcakes are topped with an Irish cream-spiked cream cheese frosting. The sweet Irish cream contrasts well with the tangy cream cheese, so the silky smooth frosting is very addictive. It is even more addictive once it has been topped with a drizzle of caramel sauce and a sprinkle of sea salt. Those two topping elements really take this cupcake over-the-top.

Chocolate Mint Cupcakes

Chocolate Mint Cupcakes

Celebrate Earth Day with us with these yummy Chocolate Mint Cupcakes from Taste and Tell!

Mint lovers will go crazy for these Chocolate Mint Cupcakes that are topped with a smooth and creamy mint Swiss meringue buttercream frosting.

Here are some delicious Chocolate Mint Cupcakes that I made from the wonderful blog – How to Eat a Cupcake (update 2016 – sadly, this blog is no longer online). The only change I made to them was to leave out the chocolate chips, because I didn’t have any mini ones, and since I made mini sized cupcakes (see note at the top of the post), I knew regular chocolate chips would be just too big. These Chocolate Mint Cupcakes were awesome – and really – food bloggers rarely let me down!!

There are some cupcakes that are most enjoyable, but one is enough. This will not be the case with these thin and minty cupcakes that are just packed full of goodness. The term, “cake in a cup” is a most appropriate title for these cupcakes that can be called no less than superb.
