CUPCAKE CAPS

It’s amazing what you can do with a little creativity. These baseball cap cupcakes are easy to create, and only require a little “elbow grease.” You can even use store bought cupcakes if time is a factor, although homemade ones work just as well. Some oblong-shaped cookies, colorful frosting, food coloring (to tint the frosting the right colors in order to represent your favorite team) and a thin frosting tip for the detail work are all that you need!

Match Point Cupcakes

Match point cupcakes are the ideal snack to take with you when off to play tennis for nibbling after a game, as they really do look like novelty tennis balls! The other players will rush to eat them and delight in their tennis ball similarity with oh so yummy taste. Their furry texture butter cream and lines of sprinkles ensure their score as aces of cupcakes, in games of both singles and doubles. Definitely winners!

Father’s Day Tee-Time Cupcakes

Father’s Day Tee Time cupcakes are sweet gifts that the kids can make for their dad on his special day. The cupcake can be any flavor if you will be using a plain wrapper. The Swiss Meringue Buttercream becomes a putting green when covered with green colored sugar and graham cracker crumbs create a sand trap. 18 cupcakes make the perfect golf course for Father’s Day and the kiddos get to enjoy this course too.

Are you ready to make cupcakes tailored to your favorite sport? All that you need are cupcakes (your choice of flavors) and buttercream frosting, food gel coloring and sprinkles. After baking the cupcakes, decorate them with the tinted frosting to look like baseballs, basketballs, soccer balls or softballs. It is all up to you! A little creativity goes a long way with these treats. Decorate them to match the sporting event you are attending and then eat them while tailgating!
