Christmas Cupcake Cones

Cupcakes are a great treat that can be served at everything from parties to family dinners — and they are made even better when they are served (and baked) in ice cream cones. Yes, you read that right, ice cream cones. Thanks to a handy new baking pan, you can fill either small or full-size cones with cupcake batter and simply pop them in the oven. When they are done, add some frosting and a few other creative toppings, and the serve. Simple and unique – it does not get any better than this!

Eight Nights Of Light Cupcakes

Instead of Christmas, celebrate Hanukkah with these Eight Nights of Lights cupcakes. They look beautiful, taste delicious, and take less time to make than you’d think. These yellow cupcakes (although you can make yours chocolate, red velvet or any flavor you’d like) are topped with a tasty buttercream frosting (again, the flavor and color are of your choosing.) The edible “candles” are made from mini Twix bars, with peanut M&Ms coated with yellow frosting to make them look like flames. The results are a perfect combination of tasty and cool!

Snowflake Cupcakes

Snowflake cupcakes can be served all winter long — not just around the holidays. Make yours out of standard ‘ol cupcake batter from your choice of flavors. Top of a luscious swirl of buttercream frosting (again, any flavor, any color, although blue is recommended.) And then add a few pearl dragees and some fondant snowflakes. If you want to top that, consider adding on a few sprinkles of shimmery edible sugar to make it look as though everything has (slightly) iced over. Tasty and beautiful!
