Chile Mocha Cupcakes

Chile Mocha Cupcakes

So here is my new obsession; these chile mocha cupcakes. They are of course inspired by the new Starbucks fall drink, the chile mocha.

A sweet combination of cocoa, cinnamon with a small kick from ancho and cayenne chile. The true definition of sweet and spicy if you ask me and just what you need for those mornings when you need an extra kick. Like today!!!

Chocolate Bourbon Cupcakes with Butter Pecan Frosting

Chocolate Bourbon Cupcakes with Butter Pecan Frosting

Really is there a better way to use bourbon than mixed with butter and chocolate? These chocolate bourbon cupcakes alone are insanely good!

The flavor is just out of this world and the bourbon highlights the chocolate so well. Then add the butter pecan frosting that could be eaten by the spoonful and you may just have one of the most delicious cupcakes of the season!

Just in time for football season! While this recipe is touted as a way to enjoy the season without having to love football, there’s a good chance football fans will appreciate these yummy cupcakes all the same.

New and Improved Cookies and Cream Cupcakes

Cookies and Cream Cupcakes

It’s a tough trick to find someone who doesn’t enjoy Oreos, kid or adult, which is why this “new and improved” cookies and cream cupcake is sure to be a hit for any audience.

Unlike some of the other recipes we’ve shared, this one is a basic chocolate cupcake (no Oreo on the bottom), with not one, but TWO delicious frostings. Oh, and a real life Oreo cookie on top. Does it get better?

Cherry Coke Float Cupcakes

Cherry Coke Float Cupcakes

Nothing says fun quite like turning one of your favorite drinks into cupcakes. This recipe begins with a chocolate-cola cake, is filled with cherry pie filling, topped with a sugar-cola glaze, then finally topped off with my favorite whipped cream frosting for cupcakes, and a maraschino cherry, of course. What’s a float without some whipped cream and a cherry?!

The combination of chocolate, the faint Coke flavor, the cherry filling, and the whipped cream on top is a sensational combination of flavors and textures. If chocolate-covered cherries are your jam, or you love cherry-flavored cola, add these to your baking list ASAP!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcakes

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcakes

There are some things that are just meant to go together. Like Caramel and Sea salt, Bacon and Eggs, Peanut butter and Jelly or Chocolate and Peanut butter. In my house, this last combo ALWAYS wins. So you know these chocolate peanut butter cupcakes were adorned and enjoyed greatly!

Nothing beats chocolate and peanut butter. The frosting is probably the best part if you are a PB lover as it’s hard not to eat it just by the spoonful. Sweet. Salty and Perfect. Although each component of these cupcakes shine on its own (chocolate cupcake + pb frosting), they come together so well like they were made for each other.

Chocolate Malt Cupcakes

Chocolate Malt Cupcakes

Chocolate Malt Cupcakes with malted frosting– topped with malt balls and straws, it’s basically a milkshake cupcake!  And who can say no to that?

It’s my favorite way to jazz up a regular chocolate cupcake and make it more special.  Just add one extra ingredient and you have a whole new flavor!
