Apple Pie Cupcakes

Apple Pie Cupcakes

A slice of warm apple pie is hard to resist, so it’s no surprise that they are one of my top comfort foods. These Apple Pie Cupcakes are a wonderful way to get all the flavor of apple pie in a format that travels more easily and can be eaten aright out of the palm of your hand!

The cupcakes are vanilla cupcakes, made with a recipe that produces fluffy, tender cupcakes every time. If you’re an apple pie lover, you’ll fall in love with these at first bit. The light cupcakes really set off the apple filling and make these cupcakes feel like pie, not just another apple cupcake.

Turkey Face Cupcakes

Turkey Face Cupcakes

A fun dessert for Thanksgiving weekend, besides what will you eat for dessert when the pumpkin pie is gone? These Turkey Face Cupcakes will be perfect, trust me!

Pie seems to get eaten pretty fast by the time breakfast rolls around the day after Thanksgiving in our house, so these would be perfect for dessert, drop-per by-ers and YOU of course. You look like you could use a cute cupcake. I know I could after tackling a 20 pound turkey!

Black Velvet Spider Cupcakes

Black Velvet Spider Cupcakes

Black Velvet Spider Cupcakes are a wonderful addition to a Halloween menu. The flavor of the cupcakes match the classic red velvet cupcake, but are dyed black instead of the traditional red.

These black velvet cupcakes can form the base of many Halloween inspired recipes, but today they are represented as frightful little spiders. A few decorative ingredients turn the black velvet cupcakes into creepy-crawly creatures which will (deliciously) frighten your guests.

Pumpkin Walnut Spider Cupcakes

Pumpkin Walnut Spider Cupcakes

What’s scarier.. spiders or snakes? Luckily we don’t have to worry about smashing these spiders! They are actually invited to the halloween party!

These spider cupcakes start with pumpkin walnut cupcake batter, and that might just be my favorite part! They are pretty simple to make and they have great flavor from the brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and pumpkin puree. The walnuts add a great crunch and I’m pretty sure walnuts and pumpkin go together like peanut butter and chocolate 🙂 The only thing you’ll have to worry about with these adorable spiders is how to eat them!

Peanut Butter Chip Brownie Cupcakes

Peanut Butter Chip Brownie Cupcakes

The only thing we can think of that’s better than chocolate, is a date with chocolate and peanut butter, and these yummy cupcakes deliver. These goodies are so scrumptious they don’t even need frosting! Of course, a little frosting never hurts…

It’s worth noting that these cupcakes aim for a higher density, like brownies, but with a handful of peanut butter chips in each bite, we wouldn’t blame you at all for eating several in one sitting.

Impossible Pecan Pie Cupcakes

Impossible Pecan Pie Cupcakes

Impossible Pecan Pie Cupcakes are the perfect dessert for anyone who loves pecan pie, whether you’re looking for an easier version of your favorite dessert or simply want to try a new twist on it.

As the cupcakes bake, the pecans rise to the top of the cupcake, just as they do in a traditional pecan pie. The base of the cupcake is an extremely moist cake that captures the flavors of maple syrup, brown sugar and vanilla. The pecan layer is crunchy, and if you use lightly salted pecans, it’ll have a sweet-salty finish to it. It is all the flavors of pecan pie in a completely new, single-serving package. It’s a great twist on a classic fall favorite.

Mini Banana Cupcakes with a Nutella Swirl

Mini Banana Cupcakes with a Nutella Swirl

You’ve made it to another Wednesday, which is worth a treat in itself. Even if you’re trying to behave and stay away from sweets, these mini banana cupcakes are excusable.

Basically tiny fruit with Nutella swirled inside, these cupcakes aren’t so much of an indulgence as just a mid-week taste of something sweet, but the banana Nutella combination is sure to hit the spot.
