Red Velvet Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting

This is my favorite Red Velvet cupcake recipe ever! It is so simple to prepare the batter, and they come out moist, with a perfect little dome on top every time.

The batter is so simple to prepare, in just one bowl, and makes the most perfect, fluffy. moist cupcakes with that perfect deep red hue and hint of cocoa. Paired with my favorite  cream cheese frosting, swirled nice and tall, these are a definite WINNER in my book!

Cotton Candy Cupcakes

Moist cupcakes, packed with that nostalgic cotton candy flavor and pieces of real cotton candy in the batter! The are topped off with a swirl of sweet, melt-in-your-mouth, cotton candy frosting, and finished with a pinch of fluffy cotton candy or one of my cotton candy lollipops!

My favorite part is the specks of real cotton candy throughout the fluffy cupcakes. These are perfect for serving at a birthday party, carnival, or any special occasion!

You can leave the island palm tree and just serve them like that, or you can add a Fruit by the Foot “towel” and a Teddy Graham tanning on the island!  Just use a pair of scissors to cut your “towels’ and then use some frosting to secure the towel and the teddy the the cupcake island!

Elmo Cupcakes

Elmo Cupcakes

No doubt your clan would like any of the Sesame Street character cupcakes, but we bet that Elmo becomes their favorite. Not just because they look so darn cute, but because they taste yummy too! Good buttercream frosting makes Elmo’s fur look so realistic. A whole bunch of Elmos can be made using this chocolate batter, then tinting the buttercream frosting with a mix of red and orange coloring.

Toasted Ravioli Cupcakes

Ravioli is a type of Italian pasta that is filled. The pasta is widely filled with meat, cheese or sauce however for this cupcake the pasta is filled with apple cinnamon filling. These apple cinnamon cupcakes incorporate unsweetened applesauce, finely chopped apples, and cinnamon to create a lightly tangy, sort of sweet fresh taste and texture. They are covered with a cinnamon cream cheese frosting and garnished with the apple and cinnamon filled ravioli. This is definitely not your ordinary cupcake, but it is wonderful.
