Decorating cupcakes is a breeze, thanks to a little ingenuity and some seemingly random candies. These graduation cupcakes are first coated with vanilla buttercream frosting. Then, the fun begins. You need fudge covered graham cracker cookies, Oreo Funstix cookies, red M&M candies, mini Reese’s peanut butter cups, thinly sliced fruit roll-ups and decorating gel to hold all of the components together. Once you have assembled the edible graduation caps on the cupcakes, they are ready to be served and enjoyed!

It’s hard enough to resist Hershey’s chocolate – but Hershey’s chocolate in cupcake form? Irresistable! These scrumptious cupcakes are made from Hershey’s cocoa, sugar, flour, boiling water, salt, eggs, milk, vegetable oil and few other ingredients. Bake them, let them cool (if you can!) and then top them with homemade peanut butter frosting (consisting of peanut butter, sugar, butter, vanilla extract, kosher salt and milk) to make them even harder to resist!

Hosting a cupcake exchange party is a fun and interesting way to sample many types of cupcakes without all the work and clean up. This is an opportunity to learn new recipes, to sample a recipe before you try it on your own, and to gather with an intimate group of friends to chat and discuss all your favorite baking techniques. Another great thing about a cupcake exchange party is that you usually get to take a sampling home with you.

When baking for others, the important thing is to know what they enjoy most in a cupcake. Cupcake recipes have evolved into more than sugar and flour and baking powder. Some cupcake recipes include such ingredients these days as zucchini, beets, and even liquor. No, cupcakes are not just for kids anymore but rest assured there is a cupcake to suit everyone; you just have to know what your “someone” likes.
